Injured WWE Superstar officially stripped of major title

El Hijo Del Vikingo's injury has officially brought his championship reign to an unexpected end.

Roldan stated that Vikingo would be sidelined for "many, many weeks" and blamed AAA General Manager Rey Mysterio for allowing the champion to compete on WWE NXT and SmackDown, where the injury occurred.

Rey Mysterio quickly confronted the duo and demanded that Omos return the championship, warning him that refusing could lead to disciplinary action.

Omos eventually handed the title back, allowing Mysterio to officially declare the AAA Latin American Championship vacant. With that announcement, Vikingo's reign came to an abrupt conclusion after only 42 days.

Speaking during the post-show media scrum, Rey Mysterio admitted that losing Vikingo for several months is disappointing but noted that injuries are an unavoidable part of professional wrestling.

He also confirmed that AAA will announce its
