Bill Apter pays tribute to Brock Lesnar

Ever since Brock Lesnar made his WWE comeback at SummerSlam 2021, his impact has been insane. Due to Roman Reigns’ Coronavirus positivity, the Beast took part in the WWE Championship match on Day 1. Thanks to his formidable power, he won the contest and sealed yet another career record.

With his six reigns as a WWE champion, Lesnar has in fact hooked Hulk Hogan and Stone Cold Steve Austin in this special ranking. Brock will defend his belt against Bobby Lashley at the Royal Rumble, in what promises to be a no-holds-barred battle.

The two had a fun exchange on Raw, with the nine-time world champion mocking ‘The All Mighty’ (even calling him a ‘wannabe Brock Lesnar’). In a lengthy interview with Sportskeeda, wrestling expert Bill Apter praised Lesnar’s work.

“Before WWE hardly ever let Brock Lesnar talk, but now it’s like he’s come out of the shell he was trapped in. I love watching his promos now” – explained Bill Apter.

“The segment where he took the microphone out of Paul Heyman’s hands was just fabulous. I think Brock deserves to be in the same league as Hulk Hogan and Stone Cold Steve Austin” – he added. Vince Russo is not of the same opinion: “The feud between Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley started in the worst way.

First, Brock verbally destroyed Lashley without Lashley doing anything. We’ve seen Lesnar belittle and ridicule Bobby in an unlikely way. How is it possible that ‘The All Mighty’ had no reaction? I think they should have gotten to the physical confrontation before the locker room intervened and separated them.
