The next few months will be unforgettable for all wrestling fans due to John Cena’s last appearances before his retirement. The 16-time world champion’s career is very close to its conclusion and this legend hopes to close in style before starting the second chapter of his life.

The leader of the ‘Cenation’ was present in the first episode of Monday Night Raw on Netflix and announced his participation in the 2025 Royal Rumble match, where he will be the top favorite along with other legends such as Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre.

John will also participate in Elimination Chamber in Toronto on March 1st and then in WrestleMania 41, scheduled in Las Vegas on April 19 and 20. It is no mystery that Cena needs a victory in the royal brawl to be able to compete for the world title in Mania, which is why bookmakers believe that he is the favorite in almost every event he will participate in in 2025.

Kurt Angle on working with John Cena

Many champions would like to face him in the last year of his career and it will not be easy for Triple H to find the right solutions in the coming months. John has made the history of this business and has been the iconic face of the company for about 20 years, so he deserves an ending worthy of his name.

On the latest edition of the ‘Insight podcast’, WWE legend Kurt Angle revealed that he would like to do a small segment with John Cena to pay homage to his glorious career but he doesn’t know if it will be possible.

“Yeah, that could be possible. If they need me to do something like that, that’s cool” – Angle said.

“That’s right, they actually brought me on TV for my birthday a couple of years ago. Then they brought me on to spray down Chad Gable and Otis with milk, which I did with Gable Steveson.

So I had a couple of days. Usually when they come to Pittsburgh for TV, they usually give me a call and say, ‘Hey, would you do something?’” – he added.
