CM Punk's new project outside WWE revealed

[ad_1]

CM Punk is much quieter and more relaxed in this second part of his professional wrestling career, an approach that convinced Triple H and WWE management to enhance his character by allowing him to participate in the main event of WrestleMania for the first time in his career.

Although he was unable to compete for the world title in the first segment of the new year, the ace from Chicago can be proud of his performance so far and has shown that he is still competitive at the highest level thanks in part to his ability to get the crowd on his side.

The former AEW star faced two sacred monsters such as Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins in the main event of the first night of the 'Showcase of the Immortals', having to surrender to 'The Visionary' which took advantage of the decisive help of Paul Heyman (who decided to betray both Reigns and Punk in Las Vegas).

CM Punk has several projects

This moment is really positive for the 'Second City Saint', who is set to appear in a TV series very soon. Punk is one of the protagonists of 'Revival', a highly anticipated TV series for which the trailer was released a few hours ago.

"On one miraculous day in rural Wisconsin, the recently deceased suddenly rise from their graves. But this is no zombie story as the 'revived' appear and act just like they once were. When local Officer and single mother Dana Cypress is unexpectedly thrown into the center of a brutal murder mystery of her own, she’s left to make sense of the chaos amidst a town gripped by fear and confusion where everyone, alive or undead, is a suspect” – says the preview of the TV series.

WWE Universe's hope is that Punk will return to perform for the world title by the end of 2025, but management's plans for him are not yet clear.

It cannot be ruled out that the former AEW star could face Cody Rhodes in the near future, after 'The American Nightmare' suffered a very painful loss against John Cena at WrestleMania…
