Jungle Boy is back in the ring

The second week of Fyter Fest brought sparks to AEW. In addition to the chaotic and brutal Barbed Wire Everywhere Death Match between Eddie Kingston and Chris Jericho, fans were able to witness the great return of Jungle Boy, who had to stop due to a shoulder problem for almost a month.

The son of the late Luke Perry, a well-known Hollywood actor, had been the victim of a cowardly attack by Christian Cage, who had knocked him out with a con-chair-to. The Canadian had turned his heel on the same night that Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus had lost their AEW tag team titles to the Young Bucks in a Ladder Match (the Hardys were originally supposed to be in the match as well).

From then on Christian has taken Luchasaurs under his wing, starting to wreak havoc on the AEW roster. In yesterday’s episode, however, the Canadian had to deal with the return of Jungle Boy and the turnaround of the masked wrestler, allying himself again with his tag team partner.

Jungle Boy attempted to attack him with a chair, but Christian promptly ran away, leaving the ring.

Jungle Boy is back

Now that he’s back in charge, a clash between Jungle Boy and Christian Cage seems inevitable, perhaps at the next PPV, All Out, scheduled as usual in Chicago.

Since his arrival at AEW Christian has always been in the ranks of the good guys, but aside from winning the Impact Wrestling World Championship against Kenny Omega, he has never done anything else. The long-awaited turn heel could project him back into the titled area and at the same time give memorable feuds with the young AEW athletes, Jungle Boy in prime.

At just 25 years old, Jack Perry, this is his real name, has shown that he has a boundless passion for the world of Pro-Wrestling and that he has been able to honor the memory of his father, a great fan of the discipline.
