Ken Anderson Disputes Claims That He Scammed Students At His School

As we’ve noted, Ken Anderson came under fire last week after a reddit user, claiming to a student enrolled in Anderson’s “The Academy: School of Professional Wrestling,” alleged that the former WWE and IMPACT star had “gone silent” and that the school hadn’t provided any training to students in two years.
The reddit user’s claims were backed up by several other students, who spoke about their experiences in dealing with Anderson’s school in Minneapolis, MN. They noted how the school no longer had a building to train in, and Anderson notified them via an email that he was in talks with a realtor for a new facility.
On Wednesday, Anderson took to Facebook to issue a statement on the allegations leveled against him. Anderson detailed the challenges his school had faced since the outbreak of COVID-19 in early 2020, and the various reasons why his school hasn’t resumed operations. He also pointed out how his school trained AEW stars Darius & Dante Martin.

I feel it neccessary, given the nature of the original Reddit post and subsequent articles written about my character and my wrestling school, to address them publicly.
I personally have not been contacted by anyone from the Internet Wrestling Community wishing to ask for my comments on those statements about me. In 2016, my friend Shawn Daivari and I realized we had similar visions for how a wrestling school should be and could be operated. We decided to team up and open “The Academy: School of Professional Wrestling.”
