Thekla vs. Starlight Kid Added To Forbidden Door

Thekla continued to call out STARDOM and its President,Taro Okada, on the June 13 episode of AEW Collision. For those who may not be aware of the history, Thekla was fired from STARDOM prior to joining AEW. And now that she sits at the top of the company as AEW Women’s World Champion, she wants to show Okada and the entire STARDOM talent what they missed out on. She even invited Okada to the event and to sit front row.

On Collision, Tony Schiavone attempted to apologize on behalf of AEW and Thekla, but the toxic one wasn’t having it. She interrupted him on commentary and sent out a challenge to any Joshi in the STARDOM locker room to come challenge her at Forbidden Door.
A bit later, it was confirmed that it would be former Wonder of Stardom Champion Starlight Kid who will be challenging Thekla at the upcoming event. Thekla responded with, “I’m going to leave you for dead and spit on your grave, baby!”
Forbidden Door is a cross promotional event with talents from AEW, STARDOM, CMLL, and NJPW. It will take place for its fifth consecutive year and will air on June 28.
