Finn Balor on Prioritizing Integrity Over Wealth and Fame

[ad_1]

Approaching a decade in wrestling under the WWE banner, Finn Balor’s career has been an interesting one of ups and downs. Nevertheless, throughout it all, both inside and outside the ring, Balor has lived by a code of integrity that he recently discussed on “What’s the Story” podcast.

One of the older wrestlers kept arguing about self-centeredness among American performers. This gave Balor the avenue to present his philosophy that is totally different from what is practiced in today’s industry. “You have to say things that are controversial so people react to it because I’m very aware that to make money in America, in this capitalist society… actually globally,” Balor commented.

He acknowledged how controversy could pay: “I know that if I was to say controversial things I would be more successful; I would be more popular; I would have more followers; I would have more money; I would have more fame.

But I’m not willing to sacrifice my dignity and my integrity to talk shit about people”.

Finn Balor Commitment to Integrity

This statement of Balor exemplifies his decision not to engage in negative speech for personal gains.

“Why would I speak ill about someone? It’s just negativity…it doesn’t benefit me personally at all,” he explained showing his love for tranquility over petty disputes. “I’d rather just not mention them, that’s shade enough as is.

When I retire, if I ever do interviews after that” there will be no coming back for him with statements like ‘haha that lad can’t do this’ or ‘haha that lad’s shit’. Now an expert inside the ring as well, Balor’s career remains brightening day by day.

The Judgment Day stable wouldn’t be complete without him who shares tag team championships with JD McDonagh respectively. His WWE journey does not only display his wrestling skills but also his dedication towards professional ethics which happens rarely within a sector dominated by sensationalism and uproar.
